About Me

PJ Rodriguez

I'm an experience designer and creative technologist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. With a B.S. in Interaction Design from Santa Monica College and an A.A. in Graphic Design from College of San Mateo, I bring a rare combination of visual communication skills and interactive design thinking to every project.

As an Interaction Design Fellow at IDEO, I designed AI-powered tools, created immersive AR experiences for COP28, and co-facilitated bilingual workshops teaching Generative AI to international teams. Before that, I spent over three years at Uber supporting driver-partners across the Bay Area in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

I'm passionate about building interactive experiences that bridge technology and culture — drawing on my Yurok heritage, my love of motion graphics and animation, and my growing skills in JavaScript, GSAP, and Rive to create work that moves people, literally and figuratively.

Currently, I'm working in Rider Operations at Zoox while preparing to pursue my M.A. in Interaction Design & Interactive Arts at CSU East Bay.
